The Musical Theatre program is intended for recreational and competitive students to round out their dance education by adding a drama element. It provides dancers a class where they can work on their performance skills and gain stage presence and confidence. The classes consist of working on individual and group pantomime, improvisation skills, character building short skits, monologues, music interpretation, vocal exercises and Broadway style dance. Although, the program focuses primarily on drama skills, musical theatre pulling in dance and vocal is a large component of the program. The program also educates and prepares students for auditions.
