Competitive Director, Musical Theatre, Conditioning
Rhonda brings with her 15 years of dance training and competitive dance experience in all dance disciplines. In 1997, Rhonda became a qualified instructor with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D) in Ballet and Jazz. She has been instructing children and adults for over 17 years in the disciplines of ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre at the competitive and recreational levels. Rhonda has received numerous awards for her unique choreography throughout her teaching career.
Rhonda is the Co-Director of OnStage Productions Dance Competition. With 9 years corporate Human Resources business experience (at Cognos and IBM) along with her Small Business Management Diploma and Event Planning Certification, Rhonda has always had the drive and vision to run a small business.
Rhonda’s enthusiasm for teaching dance and passion for creating one of a kind musical theatre routines, lead her to develop a unique musical theatre program designed for dancers, in order to enhance & develop their performance skills and onstage presence. With Theatre Arts activities that include improvisation, short skits, monologues, as well as Broadway style dance and vocal activities the program has been very successful in rounding out students’ dance education and confidence by adding in this important drama element.
